The Power of Knowing Your True Identity with Brian Schroller
SHOW NOTES: Episode 27
Hey there! On today’s episode of Relationships Unraveled, I am chatting with Brian Schroller as we unravel more on identity. Brian worked in investment banking for 25 years in the San Antonio and Chicago area but he has spent the last dozen years working with hundreds of leaders and their organizations. He’s the owner of several small businesses. Brian is certified in the Enneagram and story brand Emyth.
We chat a lot today about the importance of focusing on building others up, focusing on the positives, and more about confidence and what that means in relation to our true identity.
Brian and I chat about consuming negativity such as the news and how that impacts our identity and how we perceive the world around us. It can lead to a lack of contentment. Likewise, speaking positively to yourself and hearing positivity can be so powerful. What we listen to and tell ourselves truly does matter.
Brian speaks a lot about knowing and embracing your true identity and how it can truly impact you life and your interactions with those around you. It can give you a sense of self-worth and confidence which helps us to in turn positively impact others. Brian shares the process of discovering your true identity, which can begin by challenging the negative beliefs that others may believe about you. True identity is a knowing of who you are, not found in something outward, and influences everything you say and do once you have that clarity.
